What it does
Stripe's MCP server that lets AI agents work with the Stripe API (customers, products, prices, invoices, subscriptions and more) and search Stripe's docs and support articles.
Who it's for
Builders adding payments to an app, or managing customers and products with an agent.
How to set it up
Recommended: install the Stripe CLI and run agent setup. It detects your agents and configures the MCP server plus Stripe's skills.
bashnpm install -g @stripe/cli@latest stripe agent setupManual: add the remote server https://mcp.stripe.com. Claude Code (then /mcp to sign in with OAuth):
bashclaude mcp add --transport http stripe https://mcp.stripe.com/For clients without OAuth, use an agent API key as a Bearer token. Legacy keys: from December 2026, Stripe MCP stops accepting full-access secret keys and restricted keys without the Agent tag, so migrate to agent API keys or OAuth by November 30, 2026. Try it in a sandbox first; refunds and payouts require human confirmation.
