Sentry MCP Server

What it does

Sentry's official remote MCP server, built for coding agents: it lets your AI look up Sentry issues, errors and traces and help you debug them.

Who it's for

Developers who use Sentry and want the agent to fix bugs from real error reports.

How to set it up

1. Add the remote server https://mcp.sentry.dev/mcp to your MCP client and complete the Sentry OAuth sign-in.

2. Claude Code users can also install it as a plugin:

   claude plugin marketplace add getsentry/sentry-mcp
   claude plugin install sentry-mcp@sentry-mcp

3. Or run it locally with an access token. Only add --host=<your-host> (hostname only) if you use self-hosted Sentry. Note: the AI-powered search tools need an LLM provider key.

   npx @sentry/mcp-server@latest --access-token=<token>
