A local, open-source AI app builder, similar in spirit to Lovable, v0 or Bolt, that runs as a desktop app on your machine. You bring your own AI API keys, and no sign-up is required to download it. The app is free; Dyad Pro and Max are optional paid plans with extra AI modes and credits. Apache-2.0, except code in src/pro, which is under the Functional Source License.

Vibe coders who want to build apps by prompting but keep their code and keys on their own computer.
How to set it up
Download the app for macOS, Windows or Linux (.deb, .rpm or AppImage) from dyad.sh.
Open it, add your AI provider API key in settings, and describe the app you want to build.
Your project is a normal codebase on your machine, so you can open it in any editor later.
